One 15A or 20A single-phase, 125V receptacle must be between 20 and 10 feet from the pool. If unable to do this you can go less than 10 feet, but not less than 5 feet. Receptacle should not be more than 6.5 feet about grade level. – 680.22(A)(3) & (4)

GFCI protection for all receptacle supplying pool pump motors 15A or 20A single phase, 120V through 240V. - 680.22(5)

Wiring within 5’ of pool must be in PVC. – 680.10
