This method is much quicker then the older method of threading the rods together. This advanced wire running rod kit
contains six FIBERFUSE 6 ft. fiberglass rods that connect together to
create a flexible, nonconductive, push/pull rod up to 36 feet in length
for use in wire and cable installation inside walls, in overhead
ceilings, under carpet and other applications. The rods provide superior
flexibility and durability. One 6ft. rod is made of a glow in the dark
material for accurate positioning in dark spaces. Note: The
RoyRod quick connector ends are not compatible with other Creep-Zit threaded
connector ends (They can't be connected together). The proprietary FiberFuse™ construction
provides superior flexibility and glove-free use. Unlike other fiberglass rods, these rods will
NOT splinter fiberglass
strands in your hands. The surface of the rod resists glass splintering
that is common in other fiberglass rods resulting in the ability to use
FiberFuse™ fiberglass rods without gloves. This gives you more feel in
positioning the rod, making the rod more versatile and easier to use.
The kit also includes an assortment of
accessory tips for broad versatility in specialty installation
applications and a 6ft. FISH-TAILZ™ Flexible Mesh Pull Sock. This
innovative pull sock allows you to easily pull any combination of
wires/cables (up to 5/16” bundle size) through holes without
pre-stripping, staggering or taping wire. The FISH-TAILZ™ sock becomes
the wirepuller and the pull line in one! Advanced non-conductive mesh
material is flexible, durable and provides a reduced friction jacket
that prevents hang-ups on holes and bends. This sock offers superior
performance from the metal wire cages you may see elsewhere.
